About Us

  AV8R Wings is a clothing apparel brand inspired by historic aviation pioneers and the warbirds and crews who battled for us in the great wars. It's been more than 80 years since these magnificent machines of WW2 were battling in the skies, but their memory remains an ongoing celebration of many amazing achievements in aviation.  The brands and names we feature on our merchandise are a historical legacy to the trials, tribulations and triumphs in the aviation industry. Most didn't survive very long or were swallowed up by larger companies, but their legacies live on and many are still household names to not just aviation enthusiasts.

   We start each design by combing through vintage photos, stories, and taking frequent visits to various aviation museums.  Through painstaking research and many hours of design, testing and redesign we think we have created a look to our apparel that represents the passion we have for historic aviation.  In the final stage before printing (all printing done in Canada),  we carefully craft each design to create just the right amount of "vintage" look and feel.
